iPhone and iPod Touch Beta Testing
If you are contacting us about beta testing an app available for iPhones and iPod Touches, Please email us at appkainime@mac.com or IM us at appkainime with your iPhone or iPod Touch's Device ID. To get this, open iTunes and connect the device to your computer. From there, make sure the device is selected in the sidebar to your left click the Serial Number label that appears in the main view, and the 40 character Device ID will appear under it. If you are still having trouble, download Ad Hoc Helper (free iPhone app made to help beta testers) to be able to send me your device's Device ID.
Upon receiving your Device ID, we will respond with a ZIP containing the Application and a Mobile Provisioning Profile. Please drag these two files on top of the iTunes icon to install them, then sync your device to copy it over.
A note about Beta releases
A beta release can be best described as experimental software, and is operated at your own risk. If your computer suddenly blows up (although I don't think it would) while using it, we take no responsibility. Also note that beta software may or may not be a feature complete version of an application, and is bound to expire after a set amount of time. We reserve the right to refuse a beta copy to anyone (although we don't really see the need to unless you are really mean). Also of note, beta testers are assumed to provide us with some sort of feedback, so please don't be mean and just tell us your opinion so we can make the application in question even better!
